Recently, during a health retreat, I had the chance to interact with two individuals who shared a common, but unusual problem: despite eating copiously and incorporating plenty of protein into their diets, they were struggling to gain weight and build muscles.

But here was my catch: at meal times, they seemed constantly in a rush, gulping down their food without taking the time to really savor it.

This observation sparked a hypothesis in my mind: it wasn't just about what they were eating, but perhaps how their bodies were assimilating the nutrients.
